We are all assigned Guardian Angels when we are born, and we are all genetically “hard-wired” with the ability to communicate with the Spirit World. After all, we came from the World of Spirit and we shall return there when we leave the physical body. When we remember who we really are ~ beings of Light clothed in our wonderful physical bodies ~ we can help ourselves with our Angels' help, and help others as well. Our lives will still have challenges, transitions and lessons, but when we are open to guidance from the Other side of Life we can walk our paths a bit more easily, live life more fully and joyfully, and be comforted knowing that we never walk alone.

Angels are advanced spirit beings who are dedicated to helping us find peace, happiness and success as we journey through life. We may have one or more Angel Guides working with us, depending on our life style, work and spiritual inclination. The members of our Angel Band all work together for us, offering their love, experience and knowledge to create whatever is needed in our lives. They bring comfort when we're feeling down, make us laugh, open “doors” in our lives, and guide us on our spiritual paths, helping us find right livelihood, life partners, homes, and so much more.

We are all children of the Divine, and have a right to be here, to live life joyfully, rather than just enduring it. We have a Higher Wisdom within and all around us that will always guide us toward the right path, if we but open to it! As you begin to awaken to the realities of your True Self and this wonderful universe you inhabit, you will find meaning and joy in life, no matter how difficult your life may be. Remember, all things pass! Look at life as the wondrous gift that it is ~ even amidst the trials and tribulations we humans will always encounter. Look to the Light, ask for the help you need, do your part and let Spirit do theirs.

The members of our angel band are our Spiritual Family who have chosen to help us through life ~ to guide, uplift, protect and heal us. Most of our guides have lived on Earth, and know what we have to contend with. They know us and our needs better than we know them ourselves. They can see right into the core of our beings, and know our weaknesses and strengths, our gifts and talents. Their work is to help us develop in all areas of our lives, and do our best while of Earth. Our guides love us unconditionally and are infinitely kind, patient and comforting, never critical or judgmental. Every member of our angel band is important to us, and daily contact with them is essential for they are always “a very present help in time of trouble.” Loved ones in Spirit may also be a part of our angel band ~ people who were particularly close to us while of Earth. They assist by adding their love, guidance and spiritual power to that which the leaders of your band are creating. Additional spiritual teachers and other helpers will join our Band when we need special help. The main members of our angel band are:

• The Master : A Master or Matron has reached a high state of spiritual consciousness, understanding life on Earth as well as in Spirit. They have evolved and grown for a very long time to achieve the station of Master, and have served in roles of doorkeeper, guiding influence, protector, doctor and healing guide. A Master stands in the light of Divine truth and supervises all aspects of our lives, but especially our spiritual development.


• The Spirit Doctor : S/he is closest to us and completely supervises our band and our evolution on Earth. Our Spirit Doctors have been attracted to us because of like vibration (as have all our guides), and because they are cognizant of our ability and desire to develop and unfold our true spiritual selves. Without our Spirit Doctor's assistance our abilities, gifts and talents may lie dormant for many years or our entire lifetimes. Since like attracts like, we will attract a Spirit Doctor who can help us become aware of and develop whatever gifts and talents we have been given. If, for instance, our work is in the field of the arts, business, teaching, caregiving, nurturing or healing, we would attract a Spirit Doctor who'd be able to guide and nurture us in our field. Because our Spirit Doctors have lived on Earth and have faced some of the same challenges we face, they have the knowledge and experience to aid us in finding creative solutions to problems we encounter and to lead more balanced lives.


• The Doorkeeper : The term “doorkeeper” originated in 1535, and means one who tends a door. Our doorkeepers tend and protect the “door” to the “temple” of our soul, the physical body, and are always with us. They stand beside us as we sleep, know our every need, and provide tender loving care in our daily lives with little things such as lost keys and forgetfulness, or more significantly, protecting us as we drive and travel. Doorkeepers often show themselves as children, but may show themselves in whatever form their presence may be most comforting to us. In order for any of our guides to assist us, we must stay very attuned to them so we can receive the impressions and guidance they are always offering. The doorkeeper has many tasks to perform and knows before we do what we'll need for the day. Our doorkeepers work in harmony with the other members of our angel band to put all conditions into perfect alignment. If we have an important appointment with someone, our doorkeeper will go ahead to prepare the way and may help to make that meeting beneficial. They work very hard on our behalf, but always make certain that no one else will be adversely affected by what may be arranged for us. They, like all the members of our angel band, must follow the Spiritual Laws, as we on Earth must follow Earthly laws. Our beloved doorkeepers also have the job of bringing laughter and lightness of spirit to us, and love to take us out to play. We tend to get too caught up in the material and physical plane of existence and become overly serious and depressed. When we're feeling sorry for ourselves and focusing on the negative, they facilitate our growth and evolution by inspiring us to offer a helping hand to someone else, rather than remaining self-centered.


• Healing Sisters & Brothers : These healing guides understand the chemistry and needs of our physical bodies, as well as our emotions, personality, weaknesses and strengths. Our healing guides have been trained to direct divine healing power, and transmit that loving life force to us whether we're asleep or awake. They help bring into balance all aspects of our bodies, minds and spirits, and do things for us that we may not be able to do for ourselves, especially if we are frustrated, worried or feeling self-pity. They help us take better care of the temples of our souls, the human body, by guiding us to eat better, exercise more, do that which uplifts us, and generally take loving care of us ~ if we'll just attune to and listen to them! If we are in the healing arts, they will also work through us, as well as for us, to send healing energy to whomever we are helping.


• Protectors : All of us have special angel guides who protect us, and many of these guides are American Indians. Since Native Americans lived close to nature and understood that the Great Spirit is in everything, they sensed oncoming danger, communed with those in the world of spirit, and learned how to channel life force from the Divine. When we become scattered and disconnected from ourselves and the Divine, they will encourage sojourns into the woods, walks by lakes and rivers, or quiet contemplation by the sea so we become more grounded, calm and centered. Our protectors are always with us, keeping us from harm and alerting us to potentially dangerous situations. Stay alert and open to their guidance!


• Spirit Chemists: These guides align themselves completely with our spiritual energies ~ our aura, chakras and our unique frequencies. Their job is to prepare us for spiritual connection with the World of Spirit: preparing our bodies, minds and spirits for the work we have agreed to do in the world. They gently, over a long period of time, “bump up” our energy so that we are able to be a clear channel for Spirit. We must be able to handle the energies of spirit people working through us, as well as spiritual healing energies, without being overwhelmed or “blown out of the water.” You may feel your spirit chemist strengthening your channels, and sending a flow of energy through you while you are resting or sleeping. It may feel as though high-frequency electricity is moving through your body, along with tingles, heat, and a slight trembling energy. If the energies your spirit chemist is using are too much, let her/him know immediately, and they'll lower the frequency. It takes a long period of time to safely prepare us for the energies that will eventually be flowing through us. The energy will become higher and purer as time passes if we continue our spiritual progression, and agree to be an instrument of love and healing.

Our spiritual family helps us only as much as we will allow them to. Our guides never take away our power or force anything upon us. We have free will to live as we want to live, whether it is best for our progression or not. We can choose to take the responsibility of making this world a better place by having lived here, or live just for ourselves. We can choose to bring more Light and healing into the world, and “do little things with great love.” (Mother Teresa). When we understand and live by God's spiritual laws, we shall live in perfect harmony, peace and joy with all God's children.

Our angels stand ready to support and guide us in any way they can, offering us the benefits of their knowledge, wisdom, power, understanding and love. With their help, we can learn our lessons and progress every day if we have the right attitude. Keep the doors of life and opportunity wide open, throw no stumbling blocks in the angels' way by negative thinking and behavior. We must create a positive pattern for our lives, and make each important decision with clarity and consciousness. We work in partnership, and co-create, with God and our angels, and we must do our work as they do theirs . Begin today to fully accept the wonderful gift of angel guidance into your life, talk and listen to your dear guides, and know you never walk alone!

The following morning prayer may be helpful to remind you that you always have the love and help of your Angel Band. Adapt it to whatever you feel may be needed as you begin your day:

I am full of life and health and joy!
My angels walk before me to make safe
and successful my way this day.
Great Spirit, please fill me and use me
and make me Your servant this day !

The Spiritual Laws

• The Law of Attraction , one of the most powerful Laws of the Universe, has a very simple concept: like attracts like . Our energy field or aura, our thoughts, words and deeds all draws to us, like a magnet, that which melds with our energies. As we open our hearts to the Light, more Light comes to us, as we give “so shall we receive.” For further in-depth understanding read: The Law of Attraction , by Esther and Jerry Hicks.


• The Law of Life controls our relationship between God and Self. The amount of power, goodness and Light that is expressed through us depends upon our remembering that we are God's children, and then living accordingly.


• The Law of Love is the most important of all laws. Down through the ages, love of God/dess and humankind has been the beacon light by which souls have been led to greater achievement, evolution and greatness of spirit.


• The Law of Truth constitutes right thinking, right acting and right living. Truth will always overcome over evil and wrong-doing.


• The Law of Compensation is the law that metes out just payment to us for all our deeds, good or bad. As we sow, so shall we reap ~ what we put out into the world comes back to us.


• The Law of Freedom gives us the full realization of our unlimited power of choice or free will. We build our lives in accordance with our desires, expressed through the power of choice.


• The Law of Abundance brings to us the harvest of that which we plant, that harvest coming to us from the unlimited substance of God. Our abundance is limited only by our thoughts, and our ability to realize and accept. For, according to the Law, that which is ours will always come to us.


• The Law of Perfection teaches us that since everything in the universe is God in manifestation, and since God is perfect, perfection is inherent in all things. When we learn to express at-one-ment with God, we too will demonstrate in our minds, bodies and lives the perfection which is our birthright as Children of God/Infinite Spirit.
